Born into a musical family from Hartford Connectitcut, Kevin Cloud started playing drums at age eleven. He studied privately with famed inventor educator, Bob Gatzen, and for a period of time, was PAS Hall of Fame drummer, percussionist, educator Alexander Lepak's only private student. Aside from his father, Moe Cloud, a Jazz upright bass player, Kevin sites famed drummers Tower Of Power's David Garibaldi and Joe Porcaro as being very influential in his early music life.
Kevin Cloud's professional career started with a move to Las Vegas. He toured the world with Vegas icon, Lola Falona. Kevin moved to Los Angeles in 1986 and in the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s, Kevin Cloud was the House Drummer on five major television talk shows. A few included “The Late Show” on Fox network, “The Byron Allen Show” and “The Howie Mandel Show” both on ABC. He has performed with Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborne, James Ingram, Jermaine Jackson, Joe Walsh, The Rascals and Dolly Parton to name a few. He has recorded with Dave Koz, Anastasia, Beth Hart and Jack Mack and The Heart Attack. In the early 90’s, Kevin was a member of Rhythm Syndicate, having two top 10 hits; "P.A.S.S.I.O.N" and “Hey Donna”.
In 2002, Kevin Cloud discovered and signed R&B singer, Javier, to Capitol Records. He was Executive Producer for the artist’s two Capitol releases.
In the last several years, Kevin has been touring the country playing with Spectrum “Tribute to Motown”, performing with over 50 symphony orchestras throughout the United States and Canada.
